One of a kind, just like you
All of our products are custom and made-to-order by our talented artisans. Each hat and bag takes approximately 7-10 days to craft and is then shipped to our workshop in Ojai, California where we lovingly adorn with its finishing touches. NINAKURU Panama hats and bags are meticulously hand-woven in the Andean highlands of South America by a women’s fair trade cooperative, ensuring weavers receive dignified wages, health benefits, and educational assistance for their children.
Our Finishes
Toquilla straw
Lightweight and breathable, our authentic Panama hats are hand woven by talented women weavers using ethically sourced, organic toquilla straw, sustainably grown in the lush jungles along the Ecuadorian coast.
Cotton grosgrain sweatband
Premium grosgrain sweatbands meticulously crafted from high quality cotton and lovingly hand selected for each custom-made piece.
Botanically dyed
Sustainably harvested from surrounding forests, natural dyes are sourced from organic botanicals including berries, seeds, tree sap and grasses.
Vegan Suede
High quality and surprisingly similar to real suede, vegan suede has a soft, velvety texture, is ultra-durable and stain-resistant.
Love in the details
Our attention to detail, meticulous craftsmanship and holistic quality is the foundation of our ethos and reflected in every piece.
