HOW TO MEASURE
When purchasing a new hat, it is important to be as accurate as possible with your head measurements to ensure your hat is not too small or large.
You will need cloth measuring tape, or a string and a ruler. The goal is to measure where a hat would usually sit on your head.
Make sure your hair is down, not in a ponytail or bun.
STEP ONE
Looking in a mirror, start at the center of your forehead an inch above your eyebrows. Gently wrap the string or cloth tape around your head, a finger width distance above your ears, to the most prominent point at the back of your head. Not too tight; have a little give to it. Meet at the starting location in the center of your forehead.
STEP TWO
Mark the joint. If you are using a string, measure the start and end points.
STEP THREE
We recommend measuring three times for accuracy. Measuring in inches is fine, but if you are able to measure in centimeters, that is preferred. If your measurement falls between sizes, take into consideration how tightly or loosely you measured and select a size up or down depending on your desired fit.
It is important you have read and understood these instructions before you purchase your Ninakuru hat. As each hat is custom made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
