How to Measure
When purchasing a new hat, it is important to be as accurate as possible with your head measurements to ensure your hat is not too small or large.
You will need cloth measuring tape, or a string and a ruler. The goal is to measure where a hat would usually sit on your head.
Make sure your hair is down, not in a ponytail or bun.
Looking in a mirror, start at the center of your forehead an inch above your eyebrows. Gently wrap the string or cloth tape around your head, a finger width distance above your ears, to the most prominent point at the back of your head. Not too tight; have a little give to it. Meet at the starting location in the center of your forehead.
Mark the joint. If you are using a string, measure the start and end points.
We recommend measuring three times for accuracy. Measuring in inches is fine, but if you are able to measure in centimeters, that is preferred. If the measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
As each hat is custom made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If there is an issue with the sizing of your hat, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
